From the moment you enter the Peacock Restaurant at Finnstown Castle Hotel you know you are in for a treat. By day, sunlight streams through windows of which overlook the majestic formal gardens, and then as night falls, the classic, Georgian style restaurant adopts a more intimate mood.

Whatever time you visit, you can be sure of a personal welcome and a fabulous meal, having earned a reputation for exquisite food and service. The restaurant was also delighted to be awarded the prestigious AA Rosette amongst its many awards for culinary excellence.

Interestingly, in Roman and Medieval times, the peacock was considered a delicacy – however, while Finnstown Castle Hotel is renowned for serving fresh, local produce, its’ peafowl are purely ornamental! Menu choices reflect the flair and creativity in the kitchen, offering a wide selection of mouth-watering traditional and international dishes, complimented by an extensive wine list.
